Jasper walked a little way out of the cave where his family was still sleeping, his nose to the ground as he smelled for any food, or any threats. He could smell nothing at the moment. He raised his head and looked around. He wasn't looking for something he could've missed - he would've smelled something long before he was able to see it - he was just looking around. The wind picked up for a moment and ruffled his grey fur. Then it died down. He sighed before he headed back into the cave and curled up next to Josie, who moved to snuggle up to him, half-awake.
